Kevin Gerken
President and Co-Owner
An Omaha native, father of three, and firefighter, Kevin brings a strong sense of service to everything he does. When he’s not at Gerken Jones, you’ll find him outdoors with his family skiing, hiking, or spending time at the lake.
Kevin started in construction as a laborer at 19 and has worked in nearly every role in the roofing industry since. His hands-on experience and technical expertise shape his leadership style, which is rooted in teamwork, integrity, and doing every job right.

Dustin Jones
CEO and Co-Owner
Raised in Sioux City, Dustin’s journey took him from college baseball at Wayne State to a professional career with the Sioux City Explorers. Today, he lives in Omaha with his wife and two daughters and spends his free time coaching youth sports, golfing, and cheering on the Huskers.
With a background in sales and operations, Dustin is passionate about building strong systems, developing relationships, and creating exceptional customer experiences. He leads the business side of Gerken Jones, helping ensure the company continues to grow while staying true to its commitment to trust, service, and quality workmanship.

Jayne JorgensenAfter May 2024 storm damage we contacted a company that took 3 months to get us a bid and the bid was 225% of what the insurance company was allowing. We got another bid at 20% higher but could not get them to come and do the work. My son gave me the name of Alex at Gerken Jones. Alex came out within a week, provided me with a bid one week later, he had the materials delivered and a crew on site two weeks later. Alex was a pleasure to work with and we will definitely be contacting them for any future projects/repairs.

Dustin and his team worked through all of the myriad pitfalls of insurance and used 100% qualified, professional and courteous workers. All of the work completed, among which was roofing, deck staining / painting and window replacement was done on time as scheduled and done very well. All materials used were premium grade materials and were provided within the cost parameters of the insurance allowances. I have worked professionally in construction for 45 years, working with contractors across the country and Gerkin-Jones is right there among the best of them.
